Of course white South Africans are ashamed of Apartheid but we cannot be held continuously to account for the effective sins of our fathers. Much like the world doesn’t continue to hold all Germans accountable for the atrocities perpetrated by Nazi Germany despite the fact that many Germans alive today must by definition be descendants of Nazis.

I am proud to be white and millions of whites continue to add much value to our country. Yes, like millions of others we detest corruption, ineptitude and nepotism perpetrated by too many of our politicians, civil servants and state owned enterprises. The sheer loss and waste of billions our tax rands due to this is mind boggling and criminal. We detest how many use racism as ‘an out’ especially our politicians and their advisors as a convenient means to deflect attention away their own very serious shortcomings. These are the people destroying our new democracy not white people. Yes of course there are despicable racists on all sides of the divide but too many politicians and black radicals use it intentionally to divide us.

A fact – by far the overwhelming majority of whites have no problem being governed by our black brothers. The President often talks of the need for urgent and “radical transformation” – he should first transform his government and civil service structures into credible, honest and trustworthy bodies – root out all the ineptitude and corruption and then things will transform.

Further stop all this nonsense about white capitalist and capitalism being the problem. It is not – it is indeed part of the solution. as to those idiotic ministerial advisors who advocate going the way of Venezuela or Zimbabwe have you even seen how ‘your’ so called racist policies have ruined these countries? Your advise is nothing short of criminal. The notion that one can simply take way from whites to solve the country’s economic woes shows how out of touch our politicians are.

It is the sheer scale of corruption in our civil service mainly under ANC control that is the single biggest threat to our democracy and with respect this is being perpetrated in the main by a minority of racist radical blacks who are simply too greedy. The rest of us peace loving South Africans of all colours and creeds are being fleeced by these radicals who don’t care about this country and would seemingly rather see it ruined than shared. That our leaders and their cronies are in effect stealing from all of us is the biggest crime of all.

No if we all want this country to succeed our politicians, civil servants and all those party cronies operating under the guise of various (but racist) forums need to stop blaming others and especially whites to take away the focus rom their their own inabilities and inner racism.

In short, white people are not the problem – we are in fact part of the solution. Using us as an excuse was once convenient but it is no longer. We contribute far more to this country than you can even imagine and it’s time those of you ‘white bashers’ out there started looking towards yourselves and your cronies. You are the problem in this country not the whites.
